This is due to them overheating. Main causes of overheating are blockages to the fan vent or the motherboards not controlling the fan temperature controllers correctly. This program helps regulate the fans and enables you to control & configure the speeds that you want the fans to run at. This is a step-by -step installation guide for the fan program and how to configure it minimize damage and ware to your graphics card. Step 1 Downloading At the top of the page Click on the Fan Control Program to download the program. Save the Program to your desktop. Step 2 Installing The Program is in zip file so will need to be extracted to the desktop. Windows should be able to extract the program without the need of WinRar but if you need the program it is free to download form WinRars website. To extract it - Right Click - Go to "Extract Here". This will extract the program to your desktop. You should now have an EXE file called i8fangui31 on your desktop Double Click the program - Select the" language of you choice" -Click "OK" Click on "Next" - Click on "I Agree" Click on "Next" Select the location you want to install it to and click "Install". Once Installed Close the program. Step 3 Configuring the Software. When you run the program it will open a Window. This is the control centre for the fans. First thing we want to do is configure the "Main Operating Modes". Select "Automatic Temperature Control" Next Move over to the "Automatic Temperature Control Box " Select "Normal" from the Policy drop down Box. Now Move to the "Options" button and Click on it. This will open another menu with tabs along the top. The first tab we want is "Status Reading" In the" Internal Sensor Data" Box Select Read "GPU Temperature" A box will appear click on "OK" Next go to the "Temperature Control" Tab Go to the "GPU" Tab Select the "Enable GPU Temperature Control" Next Select "Enable First Fan" Next Select "Enable Second Fan" For the Temp Level 1 set both fans to "Slow" using the drop down box For the Temp Level 2 set both fans to "Slow" using the drop down box For the Temp Level 3 set both fans to "Fast" using the drop down box For the Temp Level 4 set both fans to "Fast" using the drop down box Click on "OK" Now in the system tray you will see numbers changing. This is the CPU temperature reading and if you hover over it, it will show you the temperature readings for the whole machine.
